The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just held a thematic conference of the Provincial People's Committee in September 2025 to review and approve a number of important contents.
At the Conference, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Bac Ninh Ta Viet Hung reported on the submission of the Regulations on tuition support levels for preschool children, primary school students, and students of general education programs in private and non-public educational institutions; tuition fees for public preschool and general education; list of fees and revenue levels, collection and expenditure management mechanisms for services serving and supporting educational activities for public educational institutions in Bac Ninh province, from the 2025-2026 school year.
In particular, the tuition fee collection rate to compensate for tuition exemption for preschools, general schools (except primary schools), continuing education institutions, and public educational institutions implementing general education programs that have not yet self-guaranteed regular expenditures, from the 2025-2026 school year, is determined on the basis of the old tuition fee collection rate, choosing a higher level for each level of education between the two provinces before the merger.
Specifically, preschool and primary school levels are 180,000 VND/student/month; junior high school is 90,000 VND/student/month; high school, continuing education at high school level is 140,000 VND/student/month.
With the above draft tuition fee, the state budget expected to implement the policy of the Resolution for the 2025-2026 school year is about 752 billion VND.
Basically agreeing with the draft Regulations on tuition support levels, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province Vuong Quoc Tuan affirmed that after the merger, Bac Ninh province determined the viewpoint of applying the best social security policies of the two localities and trying to implement them at the highest level.
Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan suggested that the Department of Education and Training continue to research and implement procedures to support educational institutions and students to ensure that the new school year achieves many positive results.
