The admission rate is the level of competition for admission to the school, determined by comparing the number of candidates registered for the exam and the enrollment quota.
According to Lao Dong, the rate of admission to grade 6 at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School (from 2023 onwards, Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted) has been on the rise in recent years.
In 2025, Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School will recruit 350 students, but the school will receive 4,851 candidates to register for the exam. The corresponding competition rate is 1/14 (ie 1 in 14 students will be admitted), the highest in the past 8 years.
Previously, in 2024, the competition rate was also high at about 1/12 (4,301 candidates/350 targets).
This is 2 years of school with a sudden increase in the rate of struggles, the highest in the past 8 years (2018-2025). The reason is that the enrollment quota has decreased from 525-535 quotas per year to 350 in 2024 and 2025, while the number of students registering to take the exam is still high. This is also the first 2 years of operation after separating from Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted.
In the period from 2018-2023, the rate of admission is high but relatively stable, from 1/7 to 1/9 (in 2021, schools will consider admission due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic). The annual fighting rate is as follows:
