The admission rate is the level of competition for admission to the school, determined by comparing the number of candidates registered for the exam and the enrollment quota.
For many years, the enrollment quota for grade 10 at Ho Chi Minh City National University for the Gifted has remained relatively stable at 595-600 quotas. However, the number of candidates registering for the exam always fluctuates every year, leading to changes in the competition rate.
In 2025, the Petroleum High School will have 3,509 candidates registering to take the exam. The corresponding fighting rate is 1/5.9.
Compared to 2024, the employment rate in 2025 has decreased. Last year, the Petroleum High School received 3,843 applications. The fighting rate is 1/6.4.
This is also the year that the School of Electricity and Technology has the highest competition rate since 2018.
