In 2025, the Ministry of Education and Training will implement a number of key tasks, including streamlining the organizational structure.

At the conference to review the work in 2024 and deploy tasks in 2025, the Ministry of Education and Training said that in 2025, one of the tasks the Ministry of Education and Training will focus on is to seriously implement and ensure progress in streamlining the organizational apparatus.

At the same time, the Ministry will arrange and assign civil servants, public employees, and people working under labor contracts when implementing the organizational structure arrangement; proactively plan to receive, arrange, and assign personnel to units after receiving the units under the Ministry's management.

The Ministry of Education and Training also continues to improve institutions, enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of state management of education; Review, adjust, supplement and improve the legal system, mechanisms and policies on education and training to institutionalize the goals, tasks and solutions assigned in Conclusion 91 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Resolution 29...

Minister Nguyen Kim Son commented that in 2024, the education sector will complete many major tasks without waiting until the end of the 5-year plan. These include summarizing Resolution 29 and proposing new policies; completing and promulgating the Education Development Strategy to 2030, with a vision to 2045; completing the general education innovation cycle; completing the planning of the network of higher education and pedagogical institutions and the planning of the specialized school system; developing many projects, programs, and plans that will be ready to launch in 2025; preparing for the new preschool education program...

The year 2024 also shows the spirit of solidarity, consensus, unity, and substance of the entire sector in leadership, direction, and implementation of tasks. Units, departments, and offices have made many efforts in compiling and promulgating legal documents, improving both quality and speed. Higher education institutions have demonstrated agility, dynamism, and responsibility in performing their tasks. General education institutions have actively implemented the 2018 General Education Program.

"It can be said that this is a year of creation and preparation, and we have done a lot of work," the Minister assessed.

According to the Minister, although 2025 is not the starting year of the new 5-year plan, for the education sector, it is the time to start many major tasks. For example, implementing Conclusion No. 91-KL/TW of the Politburo and the Education Development Strategy to 2030, with a vision to 2045; implementing the planning of the network of higher education and pedagogical institutions and planning the system of specialized schools. If the Law on Teachers is passed, 2025 will be the year to start implementing this law.

Also in 2025, the Education sector will start preparing to implement the new Preschool Education Program according to the National Assembly's Resolution; summarize and prepare for the next phase of general education innovation according to the 2018 General Education Program; at the same time, implement large-scale programs, projects, and projects for the entire sector...

From there, the Minister noted a number of key tasks to be implemented in 2025. These include taking advantage of investment opportunities from various sources; preparing well unit development projects according to regional resolutions; implementing well the planning; especially implementing the contents related to restructuring, arranging, and streamlining the organizational apparatus.
