Localities complete preparation work
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Nguyen - Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau province, the whole province has 19,667 candidates registered to take the 2026 high school graduation exam. The exam is organized at 35 exam sites with 830 exam rooms; more than 3,260 officials and teachers participate in the organization stages.
To prepare for the exam, the education sector has implemented many solutions to improve the quality of teaching and reviewing for 12th grade students. At the end of April 2026, the Department of Education and Training organized a mock high school graduation exam throughout the province with a process similar to the official exam. This is considered an important general review, helping students get acquainted with the exam regulations, and at the same time helping units complete the organization plan before the official exam day.

In Dam Doi commune, the locality has 3 exam sites located at Dam Doi High School, Thai Thanh Hoa High School and Duong Thi Cam Van Secondary School with 64 exam rooms and 1,522 registered candidates.
Up to now, the exam sites have completed the preparation of facilities. The exam room system, electricity, fans, lighting, medical room, area for storing exam papers, exam papers and fire safety assurance conditions have all been inspected and thoroughly reviewed.
In parallel with preparing facilities, schools continue to strengthen tutoring for students. Teachers focus on systemizing core knowledge, guiding test-taking skills and supporting students to stabilize their psychology before the exam.
At Tran Van Bay High School, the school assigned teachers to be in charge of each student group, strengthen tutoring for subjects that are still limited, and update new points of the exam. According to assessments, Literature has relatively stable results, while Math and English are two subjects prioritized for increased review time.
At Cai Nuoc High School, nearly 1,000 students will participate in this year's exam. The school has developed a review plan from the beginning of the school year, assigning professional groups to design content suitable for each student group, ensuring that students are supported closely to their actual abilities.
Strengthen direction, ensure a safe and serious exam
The Steering Committee for the 2026 High School Graduation Exam of Ca Mau province has developed plans to coordinate with the police, health, electricity and related units to ensure security and order, traffic safety, communication and conditions for the exam.
The stages of printing exam papers, transporting, preserving exam papers, exam papers, organizing grading and handling arising situations are all prepared in detail. The work of supporting candidates in difficult circumstances is also being concerned and implemented by localities.

Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee said that this is the first year the locality has organized the exam after merging the province. Although the facilities conditions between localities are still different, the province is still determined to organize the exam safely, seriously and effectively. The Exam Steering Committee has requested departments, branches, and localities to closely coordinate and proactively review each part of the work, not allowing errors to occur in any stage.
Working with Ca Mau province, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Le Quan requested the locality to continue to effectively implement professional training for exam officers; promote propaganda on exam regulations so that students and parents understand the regulations and stabilize their psychology before the exam.
In particular, the Deputy Minister noted the risk of fraud by high-tech devices in the context of strong information technology development. This is an issue that needs to be identified and strictly controlled to prevent violations, ensure absolute security, safety and fairness of the exam.
Along with professional work, the "Exam Season Support" program is also synchronously implemented by Youth Union levels in the province at exam sites. Hundreds of union members and volunteer youth participate in guiding candidates, supporting drinking water, school supplies, traffic diversion and helping people in difficult circumstances.
Many models such as "free motorbike taxis", "food support meals", "loving drinks" continue to be maintained, contributing to creating favorable conditions for candidates to confidently enter the exam. Not only material support, psychological counseling and sharing of test-taking skills are also organized to help students reduce pressure and be more confident during the exam days.
With the synchronous preparation of the education sector, the close direction of the province and the Ministry of Education and Training, and the joint efforts of support forces, Ca Mau is ready for the 2026 high school graduation exam, aiming to organize a safe, serious, objective and high-quality exam.
