The above content is clearly stated by the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) in the document requesting universities and colleges to review data and prepare for the 2025 enrollment virtual filter.
The document was issued by Deputy Minister of Education and Training Hoang Minh Son.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Education and Training requires training institutions to comply with the regulations on university admission, college admission in preschool education and guiding documents.
The Ministry especially noted that in the first phase of the 2025 university and college admissions, training institutions will conduct admission on the system to ensure compliance with the regulations and general plan of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Schools use all the evidence that candidates have downloaded to the general admission support system of the Ministry of Education and Training (including high school graduation exam results, academic records, valid foreign language certificates and competency assessment results, thinking... ) to consider the admission wishes that candidates have registered for.
In addition, the Ministry of Education and Training requires schools to review the announcement of regulations on differences between admission combinations, and conversion rules corresponding to admission scores, closely following the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training, ensuring fairness, transparency and accountability for explanation to candidates, parents and state management agencies.
"Training institutions cannot download data and admission information from the System if they have not publicly converted the equivalent admission score" - the document of the Ministry of Education and Training clearly stated.
Schools are also required to re-check additional criteria and enrollment data from previous years to determine appropriate virtual rates. The goal is to ensure that the number of candidates officially admitted does not exceed the prescribed quota.
Along with that, the Ministry of Education and Training also requires schools to increase communication about fairness and transparency between admission methods and admission combinations. At the same time, schools must quickly thoroughly resolve candidates' recommendations and complaints and coordinate with other training institutions to support candidates with errors.
Finally, to avoid errors and violations, schools need to strengthen internal inspection and examination work and ensure quality throughout the enrollment process.
The new point of this year's admission season is that the Ministry of Education and Training requires schools to convert the equivalent of admission scores and entrance thresholds between admission methods and combinations.
However, the Ministry does not regulate uniformly but allows universities to proactively develop their own plans, leading to the phenomenon of each place doing things differently. This makes many parents and students confused and worried. As for experts, many opinions are concerned that each school's own way of converting will not ensure fairness and transparency in enrollment.
