On the afternoon of March 21, the National Election Council announced the list of 500 people elected as National Assembly deputies of the 16th term. Among these are many people working in the field of education and training such as principals, university directors, academies, lecturers and teachers.
In which, Ms. Chau Quynh Dao, Principal of Ngo Si Lien High School (Vinh Thong ward, An Giang province) was elected as a National Assembly Deputy of the 16th term, delegation of the National Assembly of An Giang province.
With this result, Ms. Chau Quynh Dao has been elected as a National Assembly deputy for 3 consecutive terms in the 14th, 15th and 16th terms.

Ms. Chau Quynh Dao was born on May 18, 1977, Khmer ethnicity, from Rach Gia ward, An Giang province.
She holds a degree in University of Pedagogy of Literature, Master of Education Management; Advanced political theory; and also holds a Bachelor of English Language (DiPLOMA 2).
Before holding her current position, Ms. Chau Quynh Dao had more than 10 years of teaching Literature at Nguyen Hung Son High School (Kien Giang), and also held many positions such as Vice Principal, Chairman of the Trade Union, and Party Committee member.
From 2014 to July 2024, she was the Principal of Kien Giang Ethnic Minority Boarding High School (now An Giang 1 Ethnic Minority Boarding School), and also a Party Committee member of the Kien Giang Department of Education and Training.
From August 2024 to now, she has held the position of Principal, Secretary of the Party Committee of Ngo Si Lien High School, Vinh Thong ward, An Giang province.
