If the draft Decree stipulates the salary and allowance regime for teachers is approved and takes effect from January 1, 2026, teachers will enjoy 3 types of teacher allowances including responsibility allowance, mobile allowance and heavy, hazardous, and dangerous allowance.
The allowance level is calculated according to the percentage coefficient of the base salary level. For example, a coefficient of 0.1 is equivalent to 10% of the base salary level. Details of the types of allowances are as follows:

Specifically for heavy, hazardous, and dangerous allowances, the factors of hardship, hazard, and danger identified include:
Exposure to toxic substances, toxic gases, toxic dust or easily infectious environments;
Practice in places with high pressure, lack of oxygen, too hot or too cold exceeding the permissible standards;
Practical training in majors and occupations that generate loud noise or in places with continuous vibrations with high frequencies exceeding labor safety standards;
Practice in an environment with radiation, radiation, or electromagnetic field exceeding the permissible standards.
