According to Ms. Le Thi Uyen - a teacher at Nguyen Thien Thuat High School (Hung Yen), candidates need to maintain a calm mentality and proactively update their aspiration registration schedule. Many students have made mistakes such as unreasonably arranging aspirations, incorrectly entering personal information or mistakenly entering school codes and major codes, directly affecting admission results.
Ms. Uyen noted that candidates need to pay special attention to important time milestones such as registering and adjusting aspirations, paying online admission fees as well as confirming enrollment. When choosing aspirations, students should base on their interests, abilities and career orientation, and combine their favorite aspirations with safe and suitable choices to increase their chances of admission.
In addition, candidates should refer to the benchmark scores of previous years, monitor the score distribution of the admission combination to predict the trend of this year's benchmark scores. Depending on the difficulty and ease of the exam questions, the benchmark score may increase or decrease compared to the previous year. Arranging aspirations too close to each other in terms of scores may reduce the chances of admission, so a reasonable registration strategy is needed.
Students need to carefully learn information about the major, training institutions, job opportunities and admission methods. Consulting opinions from teachers, family and admissions consultants will also help candidates make choices that are suitable for their abilities, interests and future orientation" - Ms. Uyen emphasized.
In the 2026 enrollment season, candidates are only allowed to register a maximum of 15 aspirations for different schools and majors, arranged from highest to lowest (spiration 1 is the highest). For teacher training majors, only aspirations from number 1 to number 5 are considered for admission.
Sharing about the aspiration arrangement strategy, teacher Pham Quoc Toan - teacher of Huynh Thuc Khang High School (Hanoi) - said that candidates need to calmly monitor the enrollment data announced by the Ministry of Education and Training before making a final decision.
Information such as exam score distribution, floor score, enrollment targets or benchmark scores from previous years will be an important basis for assessing admission ability and building appropriate registration tactics.
Regarding the arrangement of aspirations, Mr. Toan recommends that candidates should be divided into three groups to optimize their chances of admission. The first group are their favorite aspirations, and candidates are likely to pass based on their expected scores and recent enrollment data. This group of aspirations reflects the greatest desires of candidates, so priority should be given to placing them in a higher position.
The second group includes majors and schools with scores suitable for current abilities, within the "reach" of candidates. This is considered a relatively safe aspiration group, both ensuring the ability to pass and meeting the desired career orientation.
The third group is schools and majors with benchmark scores lower than candidates' expected scores, meaning the possibility of admission is quite certain. The addition of this group of aspirations helps minimize risks...
In the context of increasingly diverse and competitive enrollment, a scientific aspiration arrangement strategy, based on data and self-understanding, will help candidates increase their chances of entering the university door most suitable for their future.
