On April 25, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) of Cao Bang province announced the test results related to the case of 27 students at Nuoc Hai Town Primary School (Hoa An district) who had vomiting and hives and had to be hospitalized for previous treatment.
The results showed that food and drinking water samples did not detect disease-causing microorganisms such as Shigella, Salmonella, E.coli, yellow blood cell deposits, etc. Therefore, the possibility of food poisoning can be ruled out.
Previously, on the afternoon of April 23, Hoa An District Medical Center received 27 students from Nuoc Hai Primary School for hospitalization with symptoms of abdominal pain, nausea, and hives. The school quickly took the students to a medical facility for treatment.

Immediately afterwards, the Department of Health of Cao Bang province directed the Provincial Center for Disease Control and the Department of Food Safety and Hygiene to coordinate in investigating, taking water and food samples and sending doctors to support on-site treatment.
Through inspection, the water used at the school is tap water for the whole area, drinking water is bottled water, food of clear origin, the kitchen ensures hygiene.
Doctor Doan Thi Nga - Department of Emergency - Intensive Care - Anti-Poison - Artificial kidney (Hoa An District Medical Center) said that as of today (April 25), most students have recovered, only 4 students have symptoms of mild itching being monitored at the Department of Pediatrics.
Doctor Nguyen Van Chung - Department of Infectious Disease Prevention (CDC Cao Bang), some symptoms of itchy rashes may be due to weather allergies and pollen, especially during the changing seasons. The health sector is recommending that parents and teachers monitor students' health and take them to medical facilities if they show any unusual signs.
