On December 26, informing Lao Dong Newspaper, Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Huu Ha - Deputy Head of Tram Tau Commune Police, Lao Cai Province, said that the unit is completing the dossier to draw a conclusion on the case of the principal fighting with a teacher at a party celebrating Vietnamese Teachers' Day at a restaurant in the area.
"Currently, the commune police are making conclusions to issue a notice and at the same time seek opinions from the Tram Tau Commune Party Committee and Lao Cai Provincial Police to have a direction for handling violations of cadres and civil servants," said Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Huu Ha.
According to the Deputy Head of Tram Tau Commune Police, after receiving the report, the unit took Mr. Ngo Ngoc Nam for injury assessment and concluded that his disability was only 1%. Damage to the left mole is an old damage, not related to the fight.
The cause of the incident was that Mr. Nam was the person who incited the conflict first.
Tram Tau Commune Police also concluded that the fight occurred when Mr. Ngo Ngoc Nam and Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh - Principal of Tram Tau Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities both consumed alcohol. The principal was wrong about beating people, and the teacher was wrong about behavior, provincection, and insult to superiors.
Tram Tau Commune Police have proposed to administratively fine Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh - Principal from 5-8 million VND for the act of "intentionally causing injury or harm to the health of others". Propose to discipline Party members and management officials for violating teacher ethics.
For Mr. Ngo Ngoc Nam, Tram Tau commune police proposed to consider the responsibility for reporting incorrectly, causing bad public opinion on social networks and having conflictive insulting behavior (faking a staff in the face, calling the principal with incorrect words).
Previously, as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, on the evening of November 19, at Hien Dao restaurant (Tram Tau commune, Lao Cai province), a fight broke out between a teacher and the principal of Tram Tau Ethnic Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities.
This is a festival to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day with the participation of 37 school officials, workers, civil servants, 8 village heads, village party secretaries, 21 parents who are branch heads of parents' association of 21 classes and 10 village heads and prestigious people.
After the incident, Mr. Ngo Van Nam posted images of many injuries on his face and a hospital certificate on social media, causing a stir in public opinion.
