On August 20, the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province informed that the locality is expected to reduce 646/1.267 public educational institutions, equivalent to about 51% of the number of focal points, before the 2026-2027 school year.
However, the arrangement plan still aims to ensure that each commune has at least one preschool education institution and one general education institution.
In this context, many principals and vice principals at some schools in the province have proactively requested to resign from management positions, giving way to young, capable cadres who are more suitable for the current arrangement requirements.
According to the Culture and Social Department of Ea Kao ward, the locality has just recorded the aspiration to resign from the position of 10 school administrators in the area.
6 principals resigned from their positions, including principals of schools: To Hieu Elementary School, Nguyen Thi Dinh Elementary School, Thai Phien Elementary School, Le Lai Elementary School, Ea Kao Kindergarten and Rang Dong Kindergarten.
In addition, 4 vice principals also voluntarily resigned from management positions to return to teaching and directly teach.
Ms. Doan Thi Tuyet Yen, Principal of To Hieu Primary School, said that this decision stems from personal wishes and creates opportunities for young officials to develop their abilities.
Because the working time is not much left, Ms. Yen hopes that her proactiveness will contribute to helping the organization to be more convenient in the process of personnel arrangement, limiting unnecessary pressures.
According to the plan to arrange public educational institutions, before implementation, Ea Kao ward had 12 schools from preschool to secondary school. After arrangement, the locality has 5 schools left, reducing 7 focal points.
