According to the Decision, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province recognized 104 schools in Bac Giang province as meeting national standards for a period of 5 years. Including 7 high schools and ethnic boarding schools; 40 kindergartens; 30 primary schools and 27 secondary schools.
Of the 104 schools that have met national standards, 77 schools have reached level 1; 27 schools have reached level 2; 6 schools have been newly recognized and 16 schools have upgraded their standards.
A national standard school is a school that meets 5 standards: School organization and management; Management staff, teachers, staff and students; Facilities and teaching equipment; Relationship between school, family and society; Educational activities and educational results.
There are two levels of national standard schools: Level 1 specifies the necessary standards to ensure the organization of comprehensive quality educational activities.
Level 2 prescribes the necessary standards to ensure the organization of comprehensive quality educational activities at a higher level, creating the premise to approach the development level of schools in advanced countries in the region and in the world.
Schools that meet national standards are invested in facilities according to the correct standards; the pedagogical environment and school landscape are improved; the school campus is expanded; playgrounds, libraries and functional rooms are built and completed according to standards; the staff and teachers are invested in, developed and improved in quantity, quality and type to meet the effectiveness and educational needs.
