As reported by Lao Dong, after collecting opinions and receiving high consensus and agreement from the people, the Project to reorganize Bac Ninh province and Bac Giang province to establish Bac Ninh province is being submitted to the Government.
According to the Project, the two provinces of Bac Ninh - Bac Giang will merge and have a new name, Bac Ninh province, the administrative center will be located in the current Bac Giang city. The new Bac Ninh province will have a total of 99 communes and wards; population of 3,619,433 people.
The project also clearly states the system of secondary schools in the new Bac Ninh province after the merger.
Accordingly, the 5 existing secondary schools under the departments of Bac Giang and Bac Ninh provinces will be maintained, including:
Bac Giang Province Culture, Sports and Tourism College under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Giang Province;
Bac Giang Transport Vocational College under the Department of Construction of Bac Giang province;
Bac Ninh Province Culture, Arts and Tourism College under the Department of Education and Training of Bac Ninh Province;
Thuan Thanh Traditional Economics - Technology and Fine Arts College under the Department of Education and Training of Bac Ninh province;
The Bac Ninh Vocational Education - Training and Driving Testing Center is under the Department of Construction of Bac Ninh province.
