Vocational training needs businesses
Mr. Nguyen Trong Tan - Principal of Ha Tinh College of Technology - said that in vocational training, the school based on the policy and orientation of socio-economic development of the province, forecasts job needs for training to meet the needs of the labor market.
The school also synthesizes to provide students with the skills and professions that businesses and the labor market need, not focusing on teaching the content that the school has.
Currently, Ha Tinh College of Technology is enrolling 3 main groups of students. In which, group 1 trains college students with a focus on training to improve professional skills and foreign language proficiency to meet the standards of "Practice Engineer". Group 2 trains intermediate vocational training and learn cultural subjects. Group 3 trains learners to learn to drive, primary vocational skills, vocational training under 3 months.
According to Mr. Nguyen Trong Tan, from 2019 to present, the school has opened training for electromechanical college classes under the cooperation program with Chisholm Academy (Australia), electromechanical and automotive technology college classes under the cooperation program with VinFast Production and Trading Company Limited, Industrial electromechanical College classes under the German transfer program. Training quality is affirmed as the top unit in the country.

Training models have been effectively implemented by the school in recent years such as: "training according to orders" with Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Industry Gang Company Limited, Vung Ang II Thermal Power Plant; "Parallel training" at school and at enterprises with VinFast Production and Trading Joint Stock Company, Etek Automation Solutions Joint Stock Company...
From 2022 to present, the school has organized 3,246 students to participate in internships and experience practical production at enterprises. Coordinate with Formosa to open 12 training courses on Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering with a total of 212 students, 100% of which are sponsored by the Minh Duc fund. Training 3 classes of Electrical, Korea Electrical, CBMA Technical with 74 trainees sponsored by Vung Ang II Thermal Power Company.

The school has participated in international vocational training cooperation projects, including: International standard training coordination program for 20 students of the College of Electromechanical Engineering under the transfer program from Chisholm Academy - Australia; training 16 students of Industrial Electricity under the German program.
High employment rate, good income
On November 25, Mr. Hoang Trong Hoang (23 years old, residing in Thach Lac commune, Ha Tinh province) - said that in 2023, he graduated from the practical engineering majoring in Electromechanical Engineering at Ha Tinh College of Technology. After graduating, he was recruited to work at the VinFast Electric Car Factory in Hai Phong with a salary of nearly 10 million VND/month.
4 months ago, when the VinFast electric car factory in Ha Tinh came into operation, Mr. Hoang was transferred from Hai Phong to Ha Tinh to work.
"Currently, my salary is 20 million VND per month. Having just graduated for a few years and achieved such an income, I feel satisfied. Especially working in my hometown, I am very happy, Mr. Hoang shared.

Also a former student of Ha Tinh College of Technology, Mr. Nguyen Trong Thanh (38 years old, residing in Cam Binh Commune, Ha Tinh Province) is currently the Director of Hyundai Dung Lac Auto Agency in Thach Ha Commune, Ha Tinh Province with an income of nearly 25 million VND/month.
Mr. Thanh shared that vocational training at Ha Tinh College of Technology is well-trained, updated with modern technologies, and learning with application, so graduates areproficient and meet the requirements of employers and businesses.
According to Mr. Nguyen Trong Tan - Principal of Ha Tinh College of Technology, in recent years, the school has trained 15,219 people. Of which, there are 1,456 college students, 6,497 intermediate students, 2,699 students studying continuing education and vocational training programs, 4,567 elementary school students and vocational training students under 3 months.
More than 85% of students have jobs after completing their training program; for the Industrial Electricity profession, over 90% of students have jobs in Korea. The school provides human resources for Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Corporation, VinFast, Toyota, Hyundai, and Honda.
Many students working and studying in Korea, Japan, Australia, and Germany are assessed by businesses to meet the requirements of skills and high income.
