At about 5:00 p.m. on December 6, at Km12+800 of the La Son - Tuy Loan Expressway (Phu Mau Bridge area, Hue City), a traffic accident occurred, causing a pickup truck to fall into a stream.
At the scene, the pickup truck was severely damaged and lay in the middle of the stream. People quickly approached to rescue the 4 people on the bus. Of which, 1 injured person was taken to the emergency room, the remaining 3 people were lucky to escape.
According to initial information, at the time of the accident, a truck carrying goods was traveling on the highway when it suddenly lost control and crashed straight into a pickup truck traveling in the same direction ahead. The strong impact from the back caused the pickup truck to be thrown over the bridge railing into the stream.
Hue City authorities are diverting traffic, salvaging vehicles and investigating the cause of the incident.
