According to the school's announcement, this year, the majors of Artificial Intelligence, Network Security and Microchip Design have the highest floor scores with a minimum score for receiving applications of 22/40 points for the high school exam score method and 24/40 points for the transcript review method.
The remaining majors have a floor score range from 20-21 points on a scale of 40 (equivalent to about 15-16 points on a scale of 30) when considering the high school graduation exam scores.

Regarding this year's admission benchmark scores, representatives of CMC University said that factors such as changes in the admission regulations and the differentiation of the score distribution of exam subjects may affect the school's benchmark scores. Currently, the school is considering appropriate options to ensure input quality and create the most favorable conditions for candidates.
In 2026, CMC University is expected to enroll 2,300 students for 19 majors and training programs.
Majors in Information Technology, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence... the admission combination is Math x 2 + 2 subjects at any level.
Electronics - Telecommunications Engineering Technology (IC Design), the admission combination is Math x 2 + Physics/Chemistry + any subject.
For the remaining majors, candidates can choose Math or Literature to multiply by a coefficient of 2 depending on their strengths, the admission combination is Math/Literature x 2 + any 2 subjects.
Instead of using traditional admission combinations such as A00, C00, D00..., CMC University uses new, more flexible admission combinations for each major.
Candidates can choose two subjects from any of the 10 prescribed subjects (including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Informatics, Technology, Foreign Language, Economic - Legal Education and Literature). Expanding the list of subjects for admission helps candidates optimize scores based on comprehensive learning ability.
In 2026, CMC University will implement a program to give iPads to all new students enrolling when placing CMC as aspirations 1, 2, 3 and achieving one of two criteria: Participating in the CMC-TEST competency assessment exam.
Having a total score on the 1st semester or the whole year of grade 12 according to the registered subject combination for admission reaching 31/40 points or higher (including bonus points).
In addition, CMC University continues the "CMC - Because you deserve" scholarship fund worth 96 billion VND for students with excellent academic achievements with scholarship levels sponsoring from 30% to 100% of tuition fees for all semesters.
Candidates can apply for scholarships to the school through one of the following methods: Academic transcript scores, foreign language certificates (IELTS, TOPIK, HSK,..), high school graduation exam scores or provincial-level or higher excellent student awards. Scholarships are applied throughout the entire learning process if students maintain a GPA of 3.0/4.0.
