On February 4, Ms. Pham Thi Minh Huong - Vice President of the Vietnamese Business Association abroad, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors cum General Director of Gold Phuc Company (Laos), through Tien Phong Newspaper, Dien Bien Provincial Youth Union donated funds to build kitchens and Tet gifts for students at Hin Phon Primary School (Nua Ngam commune, Dien Bien province).
Accordingly, Hin Phon village is nearly 14 km from the center of Nua Ngam commune, this is a particularly difficult border village, without solid concrete roads, without national grid electricity and also without telephone signals. In the village, there is currently a primary school branch for 1st and 2nd grade students and a kindergarten branch.
From that reality, on February 4, the delegation donated a total budget of 183.6 million VND to the school and Tet gifts for students. Of which, 165 million VND was used to build a kitchen.
Mr. Bui Van Hung - Principal of Ethnic Minority Boarding Primary School No. 1 Na Tong, Nua Ngam commune said that Hin Phon school point has 31 1st and 2nd grade students. Maintaining the school point in the village helps young children to study more conveniently and be closer to their parents. The timely support of the delegation will help them have more full meals in the new kitchen.
Previously, on the afternoon of February 3, Ms. Pham Thi Minh Huong presented 100 million VND to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien province to support households in difficult circumstances in the province. The program is connected and coordinated by Tien Phong Newspaper.
