Recently, Mr. Le Van Luong - Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee signed and issued Decision No. 2983 on supplementing funding for People's Committees of communes and wards to purchase teaching equipment.
According to this decision, the total additional budget is 9.9 billion VND. Specifically, 8 billion VND is deducted from the source of Education and Training Career expenditure; 1.9 billion VND is deducted from other regular expenditure sources.
The above funding will be allocated to 45 communes and wards throughout the province. Notably, each commune and ward will receive 220 million VND.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Director of the Department of Finance to balance from the above funding source and allocate additional funds to the People's Committees of communes and wards.
At the same time, the Chairpersons of the People's Committees of communes and wards are responsible for managing, using and finalizing funding sources in accordance with the objectives and tasks of spending, strictly complying with the order and procedures according to the provisions of law.
