Candidate Nguyen Phuong asked, is the admission method using V-SAT scores combined with high school academic results calculated according to transcripts for all 3 years or only 12th grade? If considering all 3 years, is it mandatory for candidates to achieve the title of excellent student in all 3 years of high school?
The Ministry of Education and Training answers this question as follows:
According to the current Enrollment Regulations, the transcript-based admission method is calculated based on the average score for the whole year of 3 years of study in grades 10, 11 and 12.

For specialized majors in the fields of health, teacher training and law, excellent academic performance conditions are applied to 12th grade academic results according to the regulations of the enrollment regulations.
However, universities are allowed to add separate admission conditions, with requirements not lower than the regulations in the regulations (Article 5, Clause 3).
Therefore, candidates need to refer to the admission plans of each school to know if the school requires excellent students for all 3 years of high school or not.
