Dak Lak - A high school female student was suspended from school for a week after beating her classmate and using an electrical stunt tool to threaten her.

On March 10, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hoang, Principal of Huynh Thuc Khang High School (Buon Ho town, Dak Lak province) informed that the school had announced a 1-week suspension of the female student P.H.Y.N for beating her friend and using electric shock to threaten her.

"For the students who filmed and distributed the clip, the school reprimanded them. The unit also reviewed and drew lessons from homeroom teachers and students who witnessed it but could not stop it," Mr. Hoang added.

In the immediate future, the school will suspend N from school for 1 week. When there are verification results from the police, based on the level of violation, the school will continue to review and handle it.

As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, two students, P.H.Y.N and N.T.L, students of class 10 (Huynh Thuc Khang High School) had a conflict. In class, N beat and slapped L because he suspected L of writing a bad post about her on social media (in anonymous mode).

When attacking her friend, N brought an electrical switch (shaped like a lighter) to threaten her.

Realizing the seriousness of the incident, the school made a report and sent the students' reports, along with the evidence to Thong Nhat Ward Police for clarification.

The school's leaders also visited and encouraged the beaten student.
