Hanoi University of Science and Technology on the morning of July 3rd issued a benchmark score forecast for 2026 for all majors, according to the following methods: Talent admission consideration (area 1.2 based on international certificates and area 1.3 based on application documents combined with interviews), consideration of thinking assessment exam scores and 2026 high school graduation exam scores.
The benchmark score is predicted based on the types of score distribution and enrollment data from previous years.
For the group considering high school graduation exam scores, the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence major (advanced program) is expected to have the highest entrance benchmark score - over 28.5 high school graduation scores and over 75/100 test scores for thinking assessment (TSA).
Some other majors expect benchmark scores in the range of 27.5-28.5, including Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Digital Space Safety, Information Technology (Global ICT), Control Engineering - Automation (standard and advanced programs), Microelectronics Engineering and Nanotechnology.

This year, Hanoi University of Science and Technology enrolls 9,700 students, using three methods: Talent selection, assessment of thinking scores, and based on high school graduation exam scores.
Last year, the benchmark score for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (advanced program) was the highest at 29.39. Business Administration - in cooperation with Troy University (USA) had the lowest benchmark score - 19 points.
