The highest score of the recent exams is 130/150 (c candidates taking the exam Part 1 - Mathematics and Data Processing, Part 2 - Language - Literature, Part 3 - Science according to 3 topics: Physics, Chemistry and Biology); lowest is 18/150; the average score is 80.2/150; the standard deviation is 14.6.
Compared to the previous March exams, the 2025 exam scores tend to increase slightly (about 3-5 points on a 150) because candidates are able to choose the Science or English section based on students' abilities and strengths according to the 2018 General Education Program. Therefore, the admission scores based on the results of the 2025 HSA exam predict a higher trend than previous years.
According to the distribution statistics of the test, the percentage of candidates reached ≥ 110/150 reached 2.1%; The score of ≥ 105/150 accounts for 2.1%; The point of ≥ 100 is 10.1%; The score of ≥ 90/150 reaches 27.0%; The score of 80/150 or more accounts for 51.1%; From the score of 75/150 reached 63.4%.
Statistics of candidates who choose the third part with 47.1% of English exams, 16.6% select theorem - Chemistry - History, 11.3% choose the physical - Chemistry - Biology, 7.4% of the epic - Geography - Physics, 5.7% select the epic - Geography - Biology, the remaining complexes are less than 5% of the exam.
According to the Admissions Regulations, for a program, major, or group of majors, all candidates are considered for equal selection based on the admission scores and the equivalent conversion admission scores according to each admission method and admission combination.

The 2025 competency assessment exam includes 6 rounds of taking the exam from March 15, 2025 to May 18, 2025 in Hanoi, Hai Phong, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh, Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Thai Nguyen, Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh.
Up to now, the number of candidates registered for the exam is 90.632, of which Hanoi accounts for about 35%, followed by Thai Binh, Thanh Hoa (6%), Nam Dinh, Hai Phong, Hai Duong (5%), Hung Yen, Nghe An, Vinh Phuc, Bac Giang (4%), Bac Ninh, Phu Tho (3%), Ninh Binh, Quang Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Ha Nam, Ha Tinh (2%), the remaining provinces account for 0 - 1%/province.
By the end of March 2025, the exam had organized 2 consecutive rounds, serving 30,793 candidates, reaching 99.4% of the registration rate of these two rounds; 1 candidate had been disciplined and suspended from the exam.
The next two rounds of the exam will take place in April on April 12-13 and April 19-20, 2025 with a registration scale of over 31,000 candidates.
