FPT Education Complex in Dien Bien, with a construction area of more than 2.1ha on a total area of about 10.5 ha, equivalent to a density of more than 20%. The main items include: administration building and lecture hall, dormitory, auxiliary works. Phase one of the Complex is expected to be put into operation in the first quarter of 2028.
FPT Education Complex in Dien Bien is oriented to organize training activities prioritizing a number of strategic technology fields including semiconductors, network security, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and other advanced technology fields in the vocational and university education systems. The general education level continues to follow the orientation of linking general knowledge with experience, equipping students with digital skills, technological thinking and foreign languages.
The implementation of the FPT Education Complex takes place in the context that Dien Bien is actively implementing the policy of promoting the mobilization of social resources for education development in the spirit of Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW dated August 22, 2025 of the Politburo.
The participation of organizations and businesses is expected to supplement investment resources for education, diversify the environment and learning choices, and better meet the needs of learners in the area. At the same time, Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation sets out orientations to strongly promote the application of technology, develop scientific and technological human resources and digital transformation, meeting new development requirements.
Attending and speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony of FPT Education Complex in Dien Bien, Mr. Le Van Luong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dien Bien province said that the province is entering a new development phase with a number of goals such as economic restructuring towards modernization, building a digital economy, a learning society, and developing high-quality human resources. This includes attracting education projects, especially large-scale projects with the participation of the non-public sector.
Mr. Le Van Luong expressed his belief that after completion, the Complex will expand access to high-quality education for students in Dien Bien and the Northwest region; contribute to training high-quality human resources; attract teachers, lecturers, experts, and promote innovation activities in the province.
Speaking at the Groundbreaking Ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa, General Director of FPT Corporation emphasized: FPT has been and is accompanying many localities in training and developing high-quality human resources, especially in the fields of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation. FPT Education Complex is also one of the ways FPT contributes to implementing the policy of socialization, mobilizing social resources for education in Dien Bien.
With a training model from elementary school to postgraduate level, FPT Education Complex is expected to add a large-scale non-public education model in the locality, expanding opportunities to access training programs associated with technology, foreign languages and human resource needs of Dien Bien province.
Inspired by the image of Muong Thanh fields, the education complex is designed in a green architectural style.
In Dien Bien, the project is expected to contribute to creating more human resources with digital skills, technology and foreign languages, meeting the digital transformation process and developing new economic sectors of the locality.
