The Ministry of Education maintains the 2025 high school graduation exam time
After receiving the Official Dispatch of the Departments of Education and Training on considering adjusting the schedule for the high school graduation exam in 2025. The Ministry of Education and Training has the following opinion:
The Ministry of Education and Training acknowledges and highly appreciates the initiative of the Departments of Education and Training in proposing to adjust the high school graduation exam schedule to meet practical needs in the locality and other practical situations.
After considering many factors, the Ministry of Education and Training decided to keep the 2025 high school graduation exam schedule as announced in the 2024-2025 school year plan (according to Decision No. 2045/QD-BGDDT dated August 1, 2024). Candidates can confidently review before the high school graduation exam
Huynh Quang Hung and Minh Khue, 12th graders in District 1, feel secure that the 2025 high school graduation exam schedule will remain the same on June 26-27. Students are concerned that if the exam schedule changes earlier, the review time will be shortened, affecting their study plans, especially in the context that this year is the first time students take the exam under the 2018 General Education Program.

Previously, some provinces and cities such as Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi proposed adjusting the exam schedule to attract many mixed opinions. Some opinions support it because it is suitable for the process of merging provinces and cities, while many people are concerned about negative impacts on the psychology of students, especially those in disadvantaged areas, who do not have many conditions to review. Parents spend tens of millions of VND to keep classroom 10 at private schools
Many parents in Hanoi are willing to spend tens of millions of VND to pay for reservations to private schools for their children, in case of failure to wish to enter public schools. Schools such as Olympia, Doan Thi Diem, Everest require fees ranging from 2 to 15 million VND, helping parents reduce stress when choosing a school that suits their children's geographical distance and educational ability.

Although paying the accommodation fee helps ensure tuition, many parents are concerned that this amount will not be refunded if their children pass public school and do not attend school. Some schools have announced that these fees will be deducted from tuition fees but will not be transferred or refunded under any circumstances, causing controversy over their reasonableness.
Private high schools have begun to consider high school transcripts and require many fees such as tuition fees, enrollment fees, admission fees, etc. Each school has its own regulations, but most of them do not refund reservation fees, causing parents to consider carefully before deciding.
