Universities pay up to 200 million VND/month to attract talent

At the seminar "Breakthrough policy to attract talent in higher education, science - technology and innovation" on November 4, Hanoi University of Science and Technology announced the development of a special incentive regime with a salary that can be up to 200 million VND/month to attract lecturers, experts and scientists.
According to Prof. Dr. Vu Van Yem - Deputy Director of the school, this is a step to solve the shortage of high-quality human resources and create an attractive environment for Vietnamese talents abroad to return to contribute.
The HUST- Talent project for the 2025-2030 period is designed with the goal of improving the quality of training and scientific research and putting Hanoi University of Science and Technology in the Top 150 leading universities in Asia by 2030. The 10th Literature exam in Ho Chi Minh City will limit learning, increase thinking requirements
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training has just announced the exam structure and reference exam questions for 3 subjects of Math, Literature, Foreign Language for the public 10th grade entrance exam in 2026. For Literature and language materials, the total length will not exceed 1,300 words. The section of writing a section (about 200 words) requires students to express their feelings or analyze the work, while the luan thesis can be written about life issues or provide solutions to a problem that needs to be solved.
According to Mr. Vo Kim Bao, a teacher at Nguyen Du Secondary School, the exam structure this year is basically stable, helping teachers and students feel secure in reviewing. However, the question will be clearer, the language will be more expanded to limit rote learning, encouraging students to think independently. More teachers accuse Vice Principals in Gia Lai of abusing power and conducting inappropriately
The People's Committee of Van Duc commune (Gia Lai province) is verifying the case of Vice Principal of An Thanh Secondary School, Mr. Pham Minh Trung, being accused by 8 teachers of abusing power and behaving in an inappropriate manner for pedagogical standards. The commune leader said that due to the large number of petitions and documents, more time is needed to collect evidence, ensuring objective handling and compliance with regulations.

The inspection team led by Mr. Ho Gia Dinh - Vice Chairman of Van Duc Commune People's Committee worked with the school's Board of Directors and teachers to record the opinions. The team received 4 feedback applications with documents, and worked with 8 teachers and the petitioner to verify.
