Benchmark score for grade 10 in Hanoi in 2025
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training has announced the exam scores and benchmarks for grade 10 public high school in the 2025-2026 school year, with more than 103,000 candidates taking the exam and about 81,000 entrance fees to public schools, achieving an admission rate of 78.6%. If calculated on the total number of grade 9 students in the 2024-2025 school year (about 127,000 students), the rate of public grade 10 admission is about 64%, an increase of 3% compared to the previous year.
This year, the benchmark and exam scores will be announced on the same day, instead of being announced a few days apart as before. Important milestones include: the time to submit an application for review from 4.7-10.7, confirmation of admission from 10.7-12.7, additional admission (if any) on July 17, and receipt of additional documents from 19.7-22.7. Schools will issue reporting forms no later than July 8.
The new point in this year's admission score calculation is not to multiply the coefficient of subjects, but to take the total score of 3 subjects: Math, Literature, Foreign Language (each subject has a scale of 10), plus priority and incentive points if any. Hanoi Procuracy changes its name to Hanoi Procuracy
Recently, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long signed a decision to change the name of Hanoi Procuracy to the Procuracy University, headquartered in Hanoi. At the same time, Hanoi University of Textile and Garment Industry was also renamed Hanoi University of Industry and Trade. The Ministry of Education and Training, the Hanoi People's Committee and related units are assigned to supervise the renaming process, ensuring transparency, without affecting the school's operations.
The renaming of the Procuracy University is closely linked to the policy of reorganizing the apparatus of the Supreme People's Procuracy. Accordingly, Hanoi Procuracy and Ho Chi Minh City Procuracy Training and Professional Development School will be merged into a single unit.
After the merger, the new unit will be named "Bridge Police University", with an additional Branch in Ho Chi Minh City.
