In Hanoi, it is expected that tonight, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training will announce the exam scores and benchmarks for grade 10 high school in 2025.
This year, Hanoi has more than 103,000 candidates taking the 10th grade entrance exam to public high schools, with 3 exams: Math, Literature, Foreign Language.
Admission scores are calculated according to the formula:
Admission score = Math score + Literature score + Foreign language score + Priority score (if any) + Encouragement score (if any).
Regarding the priority score, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training stipulates that it is 1-2 points, depending on the subject. Students are only entitled to the highest priority score if they have many applicable standards.
17. Benchmark score for grade 10 in Khanh Hoa
On the afternoon of July 4, the Department of Education and Training of Khanh Hoa announced the admission benchmark for grade 10 of Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted (Nam Nha Trang) and public high schools for the 2025 - 2026 school year.
For Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, the admission score ranges from 35.75 - 44 points depending on the major.
For popular high schools admitted under the admission method, the schools with the highest benchmark scores (expected 1) are Ha Huy Tap High School (Tay Nha Trang Ward) with 16.25 points, Pham Van Dong High School (Nha Trang Ward), Hoang Van Thu High School (Bac Nha Trang Ward) ranked behind with benchmark scores of 16 and 15.25 points respectively.
The school with the lowest admission score is Nguyen Du High School (Bac Ninh Hoa commune) with 5 points, followed by Ton Duc Thang High School (Nam Ninh Hoa commune) and To Van On High School (Tu Bong commune) with 6.5 points, Tran Quy Cap High School (Dong Ninh Hoa ward) with 6.75 points.
Some schools have added the average conditional score for the whole year of the 3 subjects of Literature, Math, English in grade 9.
For schools admitted by admission method, the admission score ranges from 26 - 35 points, while the admission score for students studying French (foreign language 1) is 23 points.
