On September 21, Mr. Phan Quoc Thanh - Vice Chairman of Phuc Trach Commune People's Committee (Ha Tinh) - said that there is currently a difference in professional preferential allowances between teachers working in areas far from the center, with difficult travel in Huong Lien commune (old), now Phuc Trach commune, and teachers working in Huong Khe town (old), now Huong Khe commune.
Accordingly, teachers working in Phuc Trach commune are entitled to a 45% professional preferential allowance, while teachers working in Huong Khe commune are entitled to 60% because Huong Khe commune is a border commune. The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) proposes that from 2027, each training institution can use a maximum of 5 admission methods, of which each major and training program can use a maximum of 3 methods. From 2028, the MOET expects each major and training program to only use 1 admission method.
