On September 3, 2025, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decisions to receive, transfer, and appoint leaders of ministries and agencies.
In Decision No. 1885/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister transferred and appointed Mr. Hoang Minh Son - Deputy Minister of Education and Training - to hold the position of Chairman of the Council and Director of Hanoi National University.

Reasons why many students choose to attend Hanoi National University of Education
On September 3, Hanoi National University of Education organized enrollment for more than 5,200 new students. With a large number, the school divided the time into many time frames, mobilizing volunteer students and support staff to make the procedures go quickly and smoothly. The dormitory also prioritizes arranging for 1,100 new K75 students out of a total of 2,600 seats. After completing their studies, they will attend the Opening Ceremony on September 5 and participate in the "Citizen Activity Week" from September 6 to September 12.
On the day of admission, many new students shared their joy and luck when they were admitted to their dream major.
