School arrangement plan, arrangement of principals in localities
Many localities have announced plans to arrange and streamline the school network, in which, statistics on the number of managers (principals, vice-principals) will be cut.
Quang Tri province is expected to streamline from 831 public educational institutions under the commune-level People's Committee to 366 institutions, a reduction of 465 schools, equivalent to 55.96%. Of which, preschools are 123 schools, primary schools are 94 schools, secondary schools are 77 schools, primary and secondary schools are 72 schools, a reduction of 48 schools.
In Da Nang, the City People's Committee has issued documents directing departments, branches and localities to simultaneously implement plans to review and restructure the school network.
The city's overarching goal is to reduce at least 30% of public educational institutions compared to July 2025, according to the principle of "Taking learners as the center, ensuring the right to education and access to education, creating more favorable conditions for students to go to school, without creating geographical and cost barriers". Approaching the new school year, 4 boarding schools in the border region of Lang Son still lack human resources
According to information from the Department of Education and Training of Lang Son province, 4 boarding primary and secondary schools were established in Kien Moc, Khuat Xa, Mau Son and Quoc Khanh communes on the basis of rearranging existing educational institutions.
Schools have the task of teaching two levels of education, and at the same time organizing meals, accommodation, and care for boarding and semi-boarding students. Proposal for high school graduation exam on computer, students hope for a clear roadmap soon
The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) has just submitted to the Prime Minister for consideration and approval the Project on Organizing High School Graduation Exams on computers in the period 2026 - 2036.
Before this proposal, many students expressed their interest and expect the conversion to be implemented cautiously.
Em Dao Nhat Long, preparing to enter 12th grade at Co Loa High School (Dong Anh commune, Hanoi), said that gradually implementing the high school graduation exam on computers is in line with the trend of digital transformation in education. According to Nhat Long, students today have many opportunities to access computers, so the transformation will not be too difficult if they are well prepared.
I think taking the exam on a computer can bring many advantages such as quick operation, automatic processing of results and reducing errors in the grading process" - Long said.
