Create the most favorable conditions for candidates to take the high school graduation exam
As of the morning of April 23, 2025, more than 800,000 candidates have registered to take the high school graduation exam online - earlier than last year. Schools such as Tran Hung Dao High School (Hanoi) and Binh Chieu High School (HCMC) have implemented early registration instructions for students and parents, helping to complete the process quickly and effectively.
In 2025, the first exam to apply the 2018 GDPT program for grade 12, students will take 4 subjects (2 compulsory, 2 optional). The exam has a new structure, combining luan and multiple-choice questions with 3 types of questions: multiple choice, true/false, short answer. The way to prepare the test focuses on assessing practical capacity, eliminating the situation of learning tips.
Schools are entering the final stage of preparing for the exam. Many places such as Binh Chieu High School, Dao Son Tay, Bui Thi Xuan have planned to organize free review and testing classes, in accordance with the regulations of the Department of Education and Training. Hanoi temporarily suspends the operation of additional teaching centers in violation of regulations
After the reflection of the 24h Mobile Program (VTV1) on organizing extra teaching and learning in violation of regulations at a center in Dong Da district, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training coordinated with the Department of Education and Training of Dong Da district, the City Police and related units to inspect the Viet Nga Cultural Training Center - facility 2 on Chua Lang street.
Through the inspection, the working group discovered that the center had not fully posted information according to regulations, lacked labor records, had not presented toll collection books, had not had fire prevention and fighting records... Although there were records of nearly 600 students, at the time of the inspection, no classes were held. The center was fined and required to temporarily suspend operations from 12:00 on April 23, while ensuring financial rights for parents and students.
On the side of teachers at Lang Thuong Secondary School - where students mainly attend extra classes, they have registered and committed to teaching extra classes according to the provisions of Circular 29/2024, not teaching regular students for fees. The Ministry of Finance has just issued additional guidance related to the handling of public assets when implementing the rearrangement of administrative units, specifically the removal of district level. Accordingly, working headquarters and career facilities will be prioritized for agencies, units at the grassroots level or other state agencies in need. The common use of headquarters for many agencies is also encouraged to optimize resources.
In case the headquarters has a difference in area compared to standards, the Ministry of Finance allows the exchange and transfer between provincial, district, commune agencies and central agencies located in the area. The goal is to make the most of existing facilities, avoid waste and ensure that they are suitable for actual needs.
For surplus headquarters after the arrangement, the Ministry of Finance proposes to prioritize converting functions to serve public purposes such as medical facilities, education, libraries, parks, etc. or assigning them to housing management organizations for exploitation. See more...
