Calculating the 2025 university admission score in a fair manner for all admission combinations
The 2025 high school graduation exam has ended but many candidates are still worried, especially those who apply for admission using the D01 combination (Math, Literature, English). Many candidates such as Kim Anh and Duc Trung shared that the Math and English exam this year was difficult, causing the results to not be as expected, increasing the fear of losing the opportunity to enter university despite having a clear direction from the beginning.

Faced with this situation, candidates expressed their hope that universities will adjust the admission scores appropriately between the groups, to ensure fairness, accurate reflection of actual abilities and not cause disadvantages for those who have chosen the D01 combination early to pursue their dream majors such as Economics, Information Technology, etc.
According to Dr. Pham Thanh Ha - Head of Training Department of the University of Transport, universities can consider adjusting the difference in admission scores between groups with Math and English. He said that it is necessary to analyze the general scores after the exam, and the Ministry of Education and Training should issue a unified recommendation, so that schools can autonomously adjust the standard scores within a reasonable range, ensuring fairness for all candidates.
