Nghe An deploys free review for grade 9 and 12 students
After Circular 29/2024 of the Ministry of Education and Training took effect, public high schools were forced to stop teaching extra classes with fees, causing difficulties for parents and students, especially final year students. Many parents are worried about finding a place for their children to study extra classes, while teachers in rural areas also have difficulty organizing extra classes.
Faced with this situation, many individuals and organizations have registered to do business to continue to teach extra classes legally, with about 700 applications registered in Vinh City. Nghe An Department of Education and Training has requested educational institutions to strictly implement Circular 29 and adjust teaching plans accordingly, especially at the primary level to ensure the duration of study according to the program.
For the secondary school level, the Nghe An Department of Education and Training has directed the organization of free review for grade 9 and grade 12 students, ensuring that 100% of students in need can review. Learning 5 days/week is very suitable for the current context
After 1 month of piloting 5-day/week main teaching (Monday to Friday) at 69 secondary and high schools in Ninh Binh, educational institutions have been proactive, have many creative ways and continuously adjusted according to actual feedback. Hong Duc University female student falls from a high floor to the ground and dies
On the morning of March 4, information from Hong Duc University (in Dong Ve Ward, Thanh Hoa City, Thanh Hoa Province) said that an incident had just occurred in the school premises where a female student was suspected of jumping from a high floor to the ground.
The incident occurred at more than 8:00 a.m. the same day. The victim who fell from a high floor was identified as a female student (name and address unknown).
Immediately after the incident, the school organized first aid and took the victim to Thanh Hoa General Hospital for emergency care. However, the victim was confirmed dead later.
Currently, the cause of the incident is continuing to be verified and clarified.
