Enrollment in 2026 and important milestones candidates need to remember
The Ministry of Education and Training has issued the university and college enrollment plan for 2026 with many important milestones. From the end of 2025 to before the 2026 high school graduation exam, departments of education and training and training institutions will complete the review of priority areas, announce enrollment information, train regulations and update data to the common enrollment system.
Candidates begin practicing registration and adjustment of admission aspirations on the system from June 17 to 21, 2026. The registration and adjustment of official aspirations takes place from July 2 to 5:00 PM on July 14, 2026; online admission fees are paid from July 15 to 5:00 PM on July 21, 2026. The input quality assurance threshold for some specialized majors is announced before July 8, 2026.
Training institutions will announce the results of the first round of admission before 5:00 PM on August 13, 2026. Candidates must complete online admission confirmation for the first round before 5:00 PM on August 21, 2026. Request to transfer principal after overcharging, teachers revise exam papers
After the reflection of Lao Dong Newspaper on the situation of overcharging and teachers arbitrarily modifying student test papers at Nguyen Van Cu Primary School (Quy Nhon Nam ward), Gia Lai Department of Education and Training reported to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee on the handling results. The Ward People's Committee has organized a review of the illegal mobilization of funds; the school and the Parents' Representative Board have refunded the entire amount of incorrectly collected money to parents.
Regarding the case of an English teacher arbitrarily correcting the end-of-semester I test in the 2025-2026 school year, the Principal of Nguyen Van Cu Primary School disciplined the teacher in the form of a warning, not assigning teaching and arranging clerical work. At the same time, the school organized a review and re-evaluation of the entire test to ensure accuracy, objectivity, and fairness for students.
Gia Lai Department of Education and Training proposed that Quy Nhon Nam Ward People's Committee review the responsibility and implement the transfer of Nguyen Van Cu Primary School Principal due to violations, causing public outrage.
