Time to hold professional titles for contract teachers
The professional title of a teacher reflects the qualifications and professional capacity of civil servants in educational institutions. The issue of time and conditions for appointment to the title always receives attention from teachers, including the question from Mr. D.T (Quang Binh) about whether contract teaching time is included in the consideration of promotion of professional titles or not.
According to the provisions of Circular 03/2021/TT-BGDDT (amended by Circular 08/2024/TT-BGDDT), to be appointed to the title of Grade II Secondary School Teacher (new), teachers must have a total of 9 years holding professional titles from Grade III or higher (excluding probationary period). At the same time, Circular 13/2024/TT-BGDDT stipulates that the contract period is in accordance with the profession, with social insurance contributions and confirmed by competent authorities, and can also be considered equivalent to calculate the term of office.
The Ministry of Education and Training recommends that Mr. T, based on the above regulations, prepare specific evidence of working time, report to the school principal to propose to the local competent authority to consider the appointment and conversion of appropriate professional titles. Another university speaks out about students being accused of being unjust to veterans
Some students were reported to have inappropriate behavior towards veterans at the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day in Ho Chi Minh City.
