On June 26 and 27, along with the whole country, the 2025 high school graduation exam will take place in Hanoi. This year, the whole city has more than 124,000 candidates - continuing to be the locality with the largest number of candidates in the country.
Of these, 2,565 candidates are from the 2006 general education program (old program) and 121,507 candidates are from the 2018 general education program.
Hanoi has a large number of candidates in the old program, so 4 separate exam scores are allocated to this group of subjects, including: Chu Van An High School for the Gifted (Tay Ho District), Ly Son Secondary School (Long Bien District), Ha Dong Secondary School (Ha Dong District) and Hong Thai High School (Dan Phuong District).
The remaining 229 test points are for students studying in grade 12 of the 2018 program.
To facilitate the organization of the 2025 high school graduation exam in the city, the City Exam Steering Committee has published a digital map of the exam locations, at https://ioc.hanoi.gov.vn/map/dia-diem-thi-tot-nghiep-thpt#.
The construction of a digital map aims to support candidates in looking up information on exam scores and guiding them to exam scores, avoiding confusion when taking the high school graduation exam.
On June 25, Examination Committees across the city began working. More than 16,000 cadres, teachers and staff were mobilized to serve the exam.
Mr. Tran The Cuong, Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the City High School Graduation Exam Steering Committee, emphasized the requirement to organize the exam with the spirit of "3 guarantees": Ensuring safety, honesty, objectivity in all stages; ensuring clear responsibility of each unit and individual; ensuring the creation of maximum favorable conditions for candidates.
According to Mr. Tran The Cuong, although this is an annual exam, this year there are fundamental new points. In which, all candidates studying the new program will take the exam for the first time, while the exam review team still has to follow two different regulations in parallel.
"The City Exam Steering Committee requires units and individuals to ensure safety and honesty in the exam organization process, have backup plans for any unusual situations, and not let any stage of the exam happen without strict management and supervision and no one is responsible" - Mr. Cuong emphasized.
Noting the bad weather situation that may occur during the exam days, the leaders of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training suggested that the exam sites proactively prepare backup plans, especially the stage of preserving exam questions, places to store candidates' belongings, welcoming and guiding candidates at the exam sites...
Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee, Head of the City Exam Steering Committee Vu Thu Ha requested localities to continue reviewing preparation work, not be subjective, ensure the exam takes place safely, seriously, in accordance with regulations, creating the most favorable conditions for candidates.
