Accordingly, "Shower 2000" called for the construction of 2 classrooms for Tua Chua Town Primary School, Tua Chua District (old) now Tua Chua Primary School, Tua Chua Commune, Dien Bien Province.
According to public information on the website.sucmanh2000.com, the project was completed on November 25, 2024. Accompanying sponsors include: 100 million from the 2023-2024 school year's surplus of Lao Cai Provincial People's Council; 300 million from individual school contributions/ Strength 2000.
However, on December 2, 2025, the Fanpage "The Power of 2000 - Spareback per Day Build a Thousand New Schools" posted a post " Contributing Spareback to build Tua Chua Town Primary School - DA0687". According to the post, the amount of money to be donated is 300 million VND.
On December 15, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Mai Dac Kien - Principal of Tua Chua Primary School said that in the 2023-2024 school year, the school will have 3 temporary classrooms ( hard room 3).
Faced with that reality, the school has proposed and was supported by the Department of Education and Training of Tua Chua district (old) to connect with the "power 2000" project to call for funding to build classrooms.
Specifically, on October 17, 2024, "The Power of 2000" coordinated with Dien Bien Provincial Youth Union to deploy the construction of 2 level 4 classrooms for the school.
"The project was completed and handed over on November 26, 2024 and has now been put into effective use" - Mr. Kien confirmed.
However, the Principal of Tua Chua Primary School affirmed that the school currently has no more temporary classrooms.
"Currently, the school is not proposing the "power 2000" project or any organization or individual to mobilize funding to build classrooms. The information appearing on social networks is not recommended by the school" - Mr. Mai Dac Kien emphasized.
According to the school's leaders, this school year the school has 603 students and none of them are involved in the "Nuoi em" project.
Similarly, Mr. Nguyen Trung Nghia - Principal of Ta Phin Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities (Sinh Phinh Commune, Dien Bien Province) confirmed that the school has been funded by the " Strength 2000" project to build 2 new classrooms. The project was inaugurated at the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year.
However, on September 10, 2025, on the Fanpage " Strength 2000", an article was published "S individuals contributing to the construction of Ta Phin Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities - DA0689" with the amount of money needed to be donated 150 million VND.
Mr. Nghia also affirmed that the school will not call for donations and will not build any new items after the project is completed.
The power 2000 project, fully titled power 2000 - Spending money every day, millions of people join hands to build a new school, launched on February 27, 2020, is a fundraising program under the "Mountain and Forest Light - Every Year a school for children in mountainous areas" project launched in 2009 and sponsored by the National Volunteer Center.
The project was founded by Mr. Hoang Hoa Trung. According to information on the website, the project receives donations and support through many different platforms, including bank accounts and intermediary payment channels.
As of December 15, the "power 2000" project has raised more than 197 billion VND. According to information published on the website, 801 projects have been started, 773 projects have been completed.
