On October 10, regarding the image of a boarding meal worth VND27,000 being reflected as not ensuring nutrition and aesthetics, many parents expressed their hope that the school would improve the portion size as well as the preparation method to make it easier for students to eat. Talking to reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper, Ms. Ngo Thi Thuy Lieu - Principal of Phu Cat Primary School said that the images posted by parents on social networks are not complete.
According to Ms. Lieu, that day's meal, in addition to rice, saffron shrimp and boiled carrots, also included shrimp-bike squid soup and a box of Milo milk 110ml.

"The images that parents posted were not complete. After being explained, parents understood. In addition to the 22,000 VND meal, when they wake up in the afternoon, the students have an additional 5,000 VND box of milk," Ms. Lieu added.
According to Ms. Lieu, on the morning of October 10, the school's Board of Directors invited the entire Parents' Representative Board to an urgent meeting to discuss and clarify information. At the meeting, parents responded positively, providing more complete images of the meal, thereby helping the school reassure the public.
Previously, on October 9, a parent whose child was in grade 4 at Phu Cat Primary School (Phu Xuan Ward, Hue City) posted a picture of the boarding meals of students on his personal Facebook, reflecting the "teo" meals with lentils and boiled carrots.
