Caring for students' toilets
In the new school year, Ca Mau province has implemented a project to build new and repair public school toilets in Ca Mau province at the same time as a project to teach 2 sessions/day.
According to the project, the total number of toilets available at schools is 2,341. Through inspection, the toilets are no longer in use, and there are 101 new toilets that need to be repaired, which are 427 toilets... with a total amount of more than 60 billion VND.

Localities review the planning of the school and class network according to the approved plan, orient investment proposals for new construction, repair of toilets, create conditions to improve investment efficiency, arrange land funds for toilet construction in accordance with the overall planning of the school space.
The People's Committee of Ca Mau province stated: toilets must be invested in accordance with the plan, synchronized with a clean water system to ensure effective use.

Currently, the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau province is making statistics on the status of toilets in schools in the province to supplement according to the project.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Luan - Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee - said that through on-site inspection, many schools are still facing difficulties, especially in upgrading classrooms, repairing campuses, cleaning and renovating toilets to ensure good conditions for students in the new school year.

According to Mr. Luan, boarding school 2 sessions/day without clean toilets and unsanitary drinking water is very dangerous. From this perspective, Ca Mau province continues to organize reviews and general inspections of the material needs of all schools in the area to have a synchronous and effective investment direction. Schools must meet all 3 criteria of the province.
Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan said: Regarding school toilet management, schools have a plan to assign and manage the use of equipment properly. When the province completes 3 criteria: Clean water, boarding facilities and clean toilets at schools, it will be considered a criterion to assess the capacity of cadres. Therefore, the school, from the Board of Directors to teachers... must have a common responsibility. If any school fails to achieve, the head will be responsible
Ready for the new school year
Before the opening of the 2025-2026 school year, the leaders of Ca Mau province have many working groups to inspect schools. For schools that are still facing difficulties, the province will support.
According to the Board of Directors of schools in Ca Mau province, in the early summer, the school is busy repairing schools.

At Ca Mau High School, An Xuyen Ward, this school year, the school has a total of 78 classes with more than 3,300 students. From April 2025, the school will repair some items to serve the new school year.
Similarly, Dinh Binh Secondary School, Hoa Thanh Ward, in addition to repairing the schoolyard, the school repaired the professional rooms in accordance with the requirements of the education sector.
Report of A Vinh Phu Dong Secondary School, in the 2025-2026 school year, the school has 20 classes with nearly 800 students, divided into 2 schools. Up to this point, the school has completed the classroom arrangement, preparing for the new school year. The existing facilities include 16 classrooms, capable of organizing 2 classes for 19 classes. In addition, the school also has 5 practice rooms in the subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Informatics and English, ensuring good support for teaching and learning.

Dr. Le Hoang Du, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau province, said that in the 2024-2025 school year, the Ca Mau education sector will socialize, mobilize nearly 167 billion VND to build 148 new classrooms, 9 public rooms and support facilities, equipment, and meals for students.
