Connecting artisans and students
On April 13, 2026, at Binh Thinh Secondary School (Duc Thinh commune, Ha Tinh province), the program "Thai Yen Wood Soul" brought students a special lesson when directly interacting with craft village artisans. No longer rigid textbooks, lessons are conveyed through the life story, the craft story of artisan Nguyen Dang The - who has been attached to the carpentry profession for many years.

The innocent questions of students open up a dialogue about perseverance, professional ethics and labor pride. The highlight is the wooden product display space prepared by students and their families, combined with fundraising activities from the products themselves, helping them understand the value of labor and responsibility to the community.
Assessing this model, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Truyen - Principal of Binh Thinh Secondary School - said that bringing artisans into the classroom has created a clear change in students' learning methods. They not only absorb knowledge but also experience, form skills and a positive attitude towards labor and traditional culture.
When lessons are linked to practice, students are more enthusiastic, more proactive and mature from their own experiences" - teacher Truyen assessed.
Practical experience changes learning methods

On April 1, 2026, Ky Phong Primary School (Ky Xuan commune) will organize extracurricular activities at Phuong Giai Temple - a national historical and cultural relic. The relic space becomes a "living classroom", where students participate in traditional education associated with the Team Membership ceremony.
Through exchanges with People's Artisan Tran Khanh Cam, students access heritage in a close and lively way. Stories about history and culture are conveyed directly to help them form awareness and feelings for their homeland.
At Lien Minh Primary School (Duc Minh commune), a specialized topic integrating local education in Music was implemented with the direct participation of artisans. Students learned to sing, perform and create on the background of Vi and Giam folk songs in a lively interactive space.
Previously, at Dau Lieu Primary & Secondary School (Nam Hong Linh ward), the combination of STEM, artificial intelligence with traditional folk songs also created a multi-dimensional learning environment. Students both access modern knowledge and deeply understand cultural values.
Reality shows that when schools proactively connect artisans and artists to teach, classes are no longer confined to books. Students learn through experience, thereby developing skills, emotions and awareness of preserving culture in a natural and sustainable way.
