Starting from small plans
The new school year begins also when 12th grade students enter a special school year. The amount of knowledge increases, along with orientations for majors, schools and the future after leaving high school.
Instead of waiting until the end of the year to focus, many students choose to start with manageable plans, first of all, rearranging their schedules and maintaining their learning habits.
Sharing with reporters, Dao Nhat Long - a 12th grade student at Co Loa High School (Hanoi) - said that he wants to build a suitable study schedule right from the beginning of the year to be more proactive in absorbing knowledge.
I plan to divide study time according to each day, prioritizing completing lessons in class and spending more time on knowledge parts I am not sure about. I think maintaining regular study will be better than letting it be concentrated until the end of the year" - Long shared.
Long said that he will maintain regular study from the beginning of the year, and spend more time consolidating the limited knowledge. The male student sets a goal to complete the foundation in the school year, gradually getting acquainted with reviewing and preparing for the high school graduation exam.

Setting goals for the final school year
Nguyen Hong Ngoc - a 12th grade student at Co Loa High School (Hanoi) - also started the school year by identifying more specific goals for herself.
I want to set goals for each subject and divide them into stages for easy tracking. In the immediate future, I will focus on firmly grasping the knowledge in class, then gradually increase the time for self-study and practice. If I see that the results are not good in any part, I will adjust my learning method instead of trying to study a lot" - Ngoc said.
According to Ngoc, setting goals helps her visualize more clearly what needs to be done in the school year. Instead of looking at the large amount of knowledge, female students divide it into smaller parts to implement each step.
Ngoc believes that each student has different abilities and learning methods, so the plan also needs to be suitable for themselves. There are times when you need to focus more on studying, but there are also times when you need to rest to maintain a stable spirit.
Besides studying, Ngoc started learning about the majors and fields that she is interested in. For female students, this is also an important part of the final year, because having orientation will help them know where they need to try.
Meanwhile, Do Hoang Ngoc Linh - a 12th grade student at Co Loa High School (Hanoi) - chose to start the school year by rearranging the schedule.
In 12th grade, there will definitely be a lot of knowledge to review, so I don't want to study all at once. I will try to spend a certain amount of time each day to study on my own and review lessons. I also want to maintain my health and rest reasonably so that I can follow the plan for the whole year" - Linh shared.
According to Linh, the most difficult thing is not learning a lot in one day but maintaining the habit of studying for a long time. Therefore, she prioritizes completing each small task, avoiding accumulating homework.
Linh recorded the ununderstood contents to learn more or exchange with teachers and friends. When she grasped the basic knowledge, she continued to move on to the more difficult parts.
The female student also spends time resting after school. Linh believes that a reasonable study schedule needs a relaxing time to avoid fatigue and help herself maintain concentration.
