On the afternoon of April 19 at Cao Ba Quat Primary School (Gia Lam District, Hanoi), more than 500 excellent students, selected from 100,000 students, participated in the final round of the 2nd Vietnamese Beautiful Handwriting Contest.
The Vietnamese Beautiful Handwriting Contest is organized by Tien Phong Joint Stock Company in collaboration with Thanh Chuong Company Limited and the Vietnamese Beautiful Handwriting Club for primary school students across the country, to encourage them to practice beautiful handwriting, contributing to preserving and spreading traditional cultural values.

Students participate in the contest on a voluntary basis and do not have to pay any fees in any form.
Launched in November 2024 with the theme "Your Dream", the contest attracted more than 100,000 students to submit entries. Students come from many primary schools in 57 provinces and cities, notably thousands of articles from students in remote areas and students in especially difficult circumstances. The Organizing Committee selected 500 students with the best entries to participate in the final round.

Mr. Bui Van Phuong - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tien Phong Joint Stock Company, Head of the Group - commented that handwriting is not only a means of learning, but also a mirror reflecting the soul and personality of each person.
"We hope that the competition will not only be a playground, but also a journey to nurture good habits, helping students form perseverance and a spirit of rising up in life" - Mr. Phuong said.

According to the Organizing Committee, in each article, students not only demonstrate their ability to write correctly and beautifully, but also convey clear thoughts and simple dreams about their family, teachers, homeland, country and even themselves. The straightforward, meticulous handwriting, carrying the breath of perseverance, practice and love of language - is true to the spirit that the contest aims for, which is "the story of handwriting, training people".
Each exam is carefully scored and selected based on the criteria: accuracy, aesthetics, presentation layout, ability to express content according to the topic, and especially emotions conveyed through letters.
The organizing committee awarded 5 first prizes, 10 second prizes, 12 third prizes, 20 fourth prizes and 453 consolation prizes.
The organizing committee also gave special prizes to 5 students in difficult circumstances, 2 provinces with the largest number of entries and prizes to schools that actively responded to the contest. The total prize value is more than 500 million VND.
