According to the instructions, units applying the model include junior high schools, high schools, continuing education centers and vocational education - continuing education centers.
This Department requires the implementation to ensure synchronization, efficiency and full compliance with the conditions of facilities, teaching equipment, and teaching staff, while developing a teaching plan in accordance with the 2018 General Education program and the 2024-2025 school year time frame.
Along with that, units are required to increase propaganda to staff, teachers, parents and students to create consensus during the implementation process.
Schools need to collect parents' opinions, develop specific plans, and adjust the timetable to officially implement the model.
For ethnic boarding schools, it is necessary to arrange a reasonable weekend schedule, while tightening the management and education of boarding students.
Previously, from March 17 to March 30, the 5-day/week teaching model was piloted at a number of educational institutions. Initial results recorded many positive signals, the model is not only in line with the orientation of innovating teaching methods, improving the quality of comprehensive education, but also helps students and teachers have more time to rest, regenerate energy, maintain health and balance psychology.
