In order to achieve the goal of opening the route in 2025 and completing it in 2026, the project is currently focusing on 1,955 personnel and 683 machines and equipment, implementing the construction of 55 locomotives simultaneously. The construction output to date has reached 12.3% of the contract.

Due to the large volume of excavated excavated areas, contractors are mobilizing maximum technical personnel and equipment to speed up the progress.
According to calculations, the Friendship - Chi Lang project needs 2.6 million m³ of stone, 13.8 million m³ of embankment and must be discharged 8.4 million m³. The People's Committee of Lang Son province has approved 43 dumping yards with a reserve of 4.4 million m³, lacking 4.0 million m³, DNDA with advice, the contractor is conducting a survey to propose additional dumping for the project.
