On October 23, information from the People's Committee of Lao Cai province said that the province has just requested competent authorities to urgently verify and handle the case of spreading fake documents of the Provincial People's Committee's instructions related to the field of education.
Accordingly, on social networks, a fake document named Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee appeared and spread, with content about "piloting the inspection of the management and implementation of tasks at a number of educational institutions in the province".
However, this is an untrue document, created and disseminated for bad purposes, negatively affecting the direction and operation of local authorities.
The appearance of this fake document not only disrupts information and causes public confusion but also affects the activities of the education sector in the province.
To prevent the above situation, Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee requests departments, branches, sectors, unions, People's Committees of communes and wards to increase propaganda and widely inform cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and people to clearly know that this is a fake document; absolutely do not disseminate or share related images or content in any form.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned Lao Cai Provincial Police to urgently investigate, verify, and strictly handle the subjects who created and disseminated fake documents according to the provisions of law; at the same time, report the implementation results to the Provincial People's Committee before 4:00 p.m. on October 24, 2025.
