According to Major General Nguyen Quoc Toan, the Ministry of Public Security has identified the National Day celebration on September 2 as an important event of the country, marking the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day on September 2.
This event is also an opportunity to evaluate the achievements of 40 years of renovation, as well as prepare for Party Congresses at all levels, especially in the context of the Party Central Committee determining that we are preparing to enter a new era. Therefore, the requirements for ensuring security and order are very high.
In terms of scale and nature, this year's event is a national event, our country welcomes international delegates to attend. The Central Government has 15 activities, focusing on exhibitions and parade activities with a large number of participants. For parades and parades alone, the number of cadres participating is nearly 19,000 people, not including the number of people participating.
According to the spokesperson of the Ministry of Public Security, we are focusing on implementing the task of socio-economic development according to the Resolution of the 13th National Congress, preparing for the 14th National Congress, and operating local governments at 2 levels. Therefore, the requirements for security and order preparation are very high.
The Ministry of Public Security determines the level of protection for August events as the highest level. Regarding the task of ensuring security and order, the Ministry of Public Security has identified key tasks throughout 2025, in which August is the peak month.
Up to this point, the Ministry of Public Security has simultaneously deployed 80 peak periods of crime prevention and control, ensuring security and order in the area, strengthening management and security and order, ensuring traffic safety and order, and fire prevention and fighting.
