This afternoon (May 31), candidates were present at the exam locations to complete the exam procedures; corrected incorrect registration information (if any); listened to the exam regulations, exam schedule and some notes during the exam.
This is the first year of organizing the primary entrance exam according to the 2018 General Education Program.
This year, 32/37 public high schools in Quang Ninh province organized entrance exams for grade 10 with 15,736 candidates registering to take the exam. Of which, Ha Long High School for the Gifted has 1,010 candidates registered to take the exam for 11 specialized classes.
Quang Ninh province has arranged 32 examination boards with 654 exam rooms. Exam review boards are located at educational institutions that meet the requirements for organizing exams, ensure compliance with exam regulations, be convenient for candidates and ensure safety for the organization of the Exam. The province mobilized over 2,000 cadres, teachers, staff and coordinating forces to participate in the task at 32 councils to ensure the correct structure, composition and quantity according to regulations.
The entrance exam for grade 10 high school in the 2025-2026 school year will take place from June 1 to 3. The exam organizes 3 general subjects: Literature, Foreign Language (English, Chinese, French) and Mathematics; 11 specialized subjects: Math, Informatics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature, History, Geography, English, Chinese and French.
The exam schedule, scoring and announcing exam scores for grade 10 in the 2025-2026 school year in Quang Ninh are expected to be as follows:
- On 1.6: Morning for the Literature exam ( chung), the exam time is 120 minutes; afternoon for the Foreign Language exam ( chung), the exam time is 60 minutes.
- On September 2: Morning exam for Math (listen), test time is 120 minutes; afternoon exam for specialized subjects: Informatics, Physics, Biology, History, Geography, Chinese and French, test time 150 minutes.
-6.3: Morning exam for major subjects: Math, Chemistry, Literature, English; exam time 150 minutes.
- From 4.6 - 14.6: Deploying the work of making facades and marking exams. Announcement of exam scores and expected benchmark scores for public schools on June 15.
- From June 17 to 22: Receive applications and appellate judgments. Announcement of the review scores and benchmarks of public schools on June 22.
