Flexible organization of extra teaching
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha Phuong - Principal of Xuan Vien Secondary School (Nghi Xuan District) - said that the school has 2 grades 9 with 52 students. After Circular 29 of the Ministry of Education and Training took effect (from February 14) with the regulation that extra teaching fees from students when organizing teaching at school are not collected, the Board of Directors reviewed the number of teaching periods of teachers.
Then, based on the regulation that the number of periods taught by each teacher must be 19 periods/week to balance and arrange teachers to teach extra classes and review for grade 9 students appropriately and have enough periods.
"Thanks to reviewing, balancing, and arranging teachers to teach appropriately, grade 9 students are allowed to teach extra classes, review consolidated, and supplement knowledge for the graduation exam, at the same time, the school also does not violate regulations on extra classes and extra classes to collect money from students to pay teachers," Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha Phuong shared.
Ms. Nguyen Thi To Tam - Principal of Thanh My Secondary School (Nghi Xuan District) - said that the school has 3 grades of grade 9. After Circular 29 regulating extra teaching and learning took effect, from the beginning of March, the school will organize extra teaching and review of Literature, Math, and English for grade 9 students at the school, each subject is taught 2 periods/week. According to the plan, additional teaching will end on May 30 so that students can prepare to enter the senior graduation exam.
According to Ms. Tam, teachers participating in extra teaching and reviewing for grade 9 students at the school are expected to be supported with fuel costs with an expected cost of about 100,000 VND/session. However, that is the plan and there is no source to pay for support.

Ky Anh High School (in Ky Anh town) has 15 grade 12 classes with 653 students. Before Circular 29 took effect, schools organizing extra classes collected money from students.
However, immediately after Circular 29 took effect, the school's Board of Directors suspended teaching for about 3 more weeks, organized a dissemination of the Circular's regulation on extra teaching in schools that students are not allowed to collect money from.
After that, 32 teachers of the school voluntarily taught 9 more subjects to 12th graders at the school with a commitment not to collect money from students. Each subject is taught 2 extra periods/week. According to the plan, the tutoring program will last until June 21 to prepare 12th graders for the 2025 high school graduation exam.
"Thanks to doing a good job of ideological work, clearly determining that teaching is well-paid, and having to be determined for the students, teachers all understand and voluntarily teach more with enthusiasm and responsibility," said Mr. Tran Huu Linh - Principal of Ky Anh High School.
Direct teaching combined with online
On May 24, Mr. Dau Quang Hong - Head of the General Education Department of the Department of Education and Training of Ha Tinh province - said that on May 15, the Department of Education and Training of Ha Tinh province had plan No. 1267 on teaching and reviewing in preparation for the high school graduation exam.
The plan aims to help 12th graders systematize knowledge, improve exam preparation skills, and ensure adequate preparation in both content and practical skills according to the 2018 General Education Program.
Accordingly, the Department of Education and Training of Ha Tinh organizes review lessons in a direct and online manner with the main bridge at Ha Tinh High School for the Gifted connecting with hundreds of bridges across the province.
Recently, Physics has been held reviewers with more than 4,000 12th grade students at participating centers. Math with more than 17,000 students and trainees from 400 participating locations.

The remaining subjects such as English, History, Geography, Economic and Legal Education, Agricultural Technology, Chemistry will continue to be implemented according to the set plan.
The main demand point will continue to be held at Ha Tinh High School for the Gifted with the participation of key provincial-level teachers. Lessons are organized directly and online to ensure uniform quality at points across the province.
Organizing reviews for grade 12 students in the form of direct combination online as in Ha Tinh recently was assessed by the Ministry of Education as a good way to do it. This will be effective because those lessons are taught by a team of core teachers, Mr. Hong shared.
