At the opening ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Duc Son - Principal of Hanoi National University of Education expressed that the ceremony marked a new learning journey and also reminded students that they were embarking on a new journey, shorter than the time spent in high school and shorter than their future lives but extremely important.

You are on your way to adulthood, becoming excellent teachers, scientists and experts in the future.

In his message to new students, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Duc Son said that maturity is when you are self-controlled, self-controlled in thoughts, actions and social relationships, keeping your own identity but knowing how to respect others.

Growing up is not a milestone, it is a process. It started long ago but is happening faster today.

“Four years of university are not long, just enough to accumulate basic professional knowledge to enter the world. Therefore, studying hard and devoting all your efforts to studying during university years is the most decisive and important factor at this stage” - Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Duc Son advised.

The Principal of Hanoi National University of Education advises new students to always try their best, because if they do not devote all their efforts to studying, they are losing their own opportunities. When they devote minimal effort, the results will be minimal.

No matter how good parents set the best example or how hard teachers work, ultimately it is your own efforts that will determine how much and how you learn.

Only by making every effort can one expect to have enough knowledge and skills to be independent, to create one's own life and control one's own destiny. Otherwise, the future will be controlled by others.

If you want to take control of your own destiny, study, develop your intelligence, and manage yourself. Set higher demands on yourself and turn challenges into opportunities.

Representing 4,000 new students, female student Nguyen Thanh Xuan - K74A, History Department, Hanoi National University of Education shared: "Facing the crossroads of my life, I decided to choose Hanoi National University of Education. The enthusiasm and care of teachers from primary to high school, along with the excellent student training sessions, have instilled in me a passion and love for the teaching profession."

Previously, the female student achieved many remarkable achievements such as First Prize for Excellent Students at School level in History in 2022; Gold medal in the Northern Coastal and Delta exam in 2022; Third Prize at Provincial level in the Vietnam Pride exam in 2022; Encouragement Prize for Excellent Students at National level in History in 2023; First Prize for Excellent Students at National level in History in 2024.

In the high school graduation exam, I became the valedictorian of the National C00 block in 2024 with 29.75 points.
